Week 3

Has it really only been 3 weeks since we have been here? I feel like we have been here for months!!!

This week we have;
  • had multiple date nights thanks to Dine About Town, (it's like restaraunt week in NYC)

  • had drinks with old and new co-workers in the Haight

  • had Rosamunde's sausages (mmmm Wild Boar with Apple pieces)

  • gone on the Scharffen Berger Chocolate factory tour (which was the best factory tour I have ever been on, ever!)

  • gone to Ikea for work (I can never stay away from there for long)

  • had Top Dog hot dogs in Berkeley

  • gone in and almost immediately out of the UC Berkeley campus - there wasn't much to see

  • gone to a Ruth Chris' for steak dinner at $32 bucks each it was SOOOO good and such a good deal

  • had Colibri Mexican
  • bought pastries from Crixa Cakes which is a russian bakery with very good, not too sweet pastries (we had something with honeyed poppy seeds, and something with yummy, crunchy apple and pear pieces inside)

  • had dine about town dinner at Luella's on Hyde Street (not our favorite place, but it was a very nice night out!

  • went to the Tonga Room which is a place that everyone must experience once in their life. It's like, cruise ship theme bar/pirate ship/rainforest cafe feel! They even have a thunderstorm that takes place every hour with rain and lightening, which occurs over the pool in the middle of the establishment. In the middle of the pool is a little boat that holds the live band that plays music for all the people on the dance floor... seriously - you have to go to understand!!!!! It was AWESOME and lterribly cheesy at the same time... but all in all VERY enjoyable

  • been to every drug store in what feels like a 5 mile radius looking for hair clips for my new short 'do!!!

Today we are going to a bar in Noe Valley to meet up with an old friend from Mville who also just moved to SF recently... we are going to watch the Giants game:)

Next week, we hope to finally get to Yogic Motion for our first class as well as try another restaraunt with a dine about town lunch pre-fixe menu.

Maybe we will finally hit up the SF MOMA on their half price night which is Thursday after 5.

Oh we also discovered Trader Joes Bagel chips while out here. The whole wheat one are addictive both plain or with dips:)

Hope it's all going well at home! We love to hear from you all!!!

They make you wear hair nets and facial hair nets before you go onto the factory floor... it's Awesome!
